The 2010 election cycle represented a tremendous success for our state and our country! If we are going to build upon this success, it is critically important that we have the most experienced and aggressive leadership possible to guide our party into the 2012 elections.

The Alabama GOP Treasurer plays two very important roles for our party. First, the treasurer protects the funds and assets of the party. Second, as a voting member of the Alabama GOP Steering Committee, the treasurer is a key player in determining the strategic direction of the state GOP.

My extensive finance-related education and work experience has provided me with the financial management skills needed to be an effective treasurer, while my leadership as the Chairman of the Escambia County GOP has given me the political experience necessary to be an effective 'party-builder' on the steering committee.

Over the coming weeks, I look forward to presenting my platform to the Alabama State Republican Executive Committee.
